My passion and interests lie in identifying mental health solutions that improve the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. I have over 25 years of experience working for a variety of social service organizations, ranging from hospitals and small local non-profits to large statewide universities and organizations. My clinical focus involves recovery from trauma and building resiliency to overcome challenges related to psychiatric impairments that affect personal and family relationships. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts and Master's in Social Work from Indiana University.
On a personal level, I enjoy my days at home with my two teen daughters and my best friend-my little, not-so-little puggle dog, Rizzo. I love traveling and exploring beautiful places, as well as cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. I am also passionate about and actively involved in many social causes on local, national, and global levels that keep me busy.

I literally JUST ended my session with Jody and I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She provided such great insight into my current issue and immediately knew what resources would be helpful for me. I am rebooking another session NOW.
