“Joe is great. It took a while to find a therapist that had the right combination of compasion and willingness to challenge me when needed. Joe is great at that, it makes it easy to trust that the feedback he gives me is based off of reality and not a need to placate. He also gives me tools that I can take away from my sessions to activley improve my quiality of life. I feel like we do real life changing work and not just "Vent" sessions. Hard work and true growth happen and that is worth every second I spend in our sessions. So grateful for Joe and the help he gives me!”

You need to be able to trust that the person you are working with has your best interest at heart and genuinely listens to help meet your therapeutic goals. If I am not the right fit for you, I will assist you in finding the right counselor. I have over 20 years of experience and hold a Master's in Counseling Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Joe is great. It took a while to find a therapist that had the right combination of compasion and willingness to challenge me when needed. Joe McCracken is an outstanding therapist. He's authentic, present, and genuinely invested. His solution oriented approach helps you make real progress instead of just talking in circles. Every session feels purposeful and focused. He's both practical and also humorous. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking real change as the assignments he recommends help you take what you learned in that one hour of therapy through your day to day life. Easily a 10/10.
