I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than thirteen years of experience in the mental health field. I seek to provide safe spaces for healing and growth. I have firsthand understanding of immigrant, bi-cultural, Latinx, and urban identities. In my practice my goal is to provide a client centered approach while engaging in trauma-informed best practices. I take into consideration the social ecology of my clients and engage in whole person, solution focused therapy. I have experience in working with a variety of individuals and I specialize in treating trauma as related to marginalized identities, immigration challenges, gender-based violence/trauma as well as codependency. I engage in whole person, solution focused work while keeping in mind and naming my clients ecological factors. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey and space that is led by my clients.
