We all have times in our lives when things are tough, and it's okay to reach out for help. I have been assisting men and women struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma for over a decade. With a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Lesley University, I am confident that I can support you in making the changes you want in your life, whenever you’re ready.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who utilizes a person-centered approach consisting of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a Person-Centered and humanistic approach, and assist in generating mindfulness throughout daily life to assist in the needs of the individual to help them to achieve their goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I tailor our sessions depending on what the person needs, and because of that, I'm very flexible in being more or less directive bases on what feels right for the individual. During a typical session there may targeting of specific difficulties and unpacking problems someone has, or the focus may be discovered along the way through a more talk-style therapy. My goal is to help you to walk away with some useful, practical strategies and deeper insight into the blind spots that we all have in life so to work towards a more enjoyable and fulfilling existence.

John has been an immense help for me. I’ve been working with him for a little over a year and he has helped me through some trying times. Furthermore, he has helped me become aware of patterns that have not been beneficial for my well-being and has gently but firmly guided me towards changing these behaviors. He has been so kind and helpful, I truly can’t recommend him enough.
As someone who was new to therapy, it was hard for me to open up and feel vulnerable. I was very comfortable with our conversations.
