Psychotherapist
WA
Hi there, I'm John! "What now...?" Life can bring challenges that leave you questioning what comes next. I help individuals and couples work through depression, anxiety, burnout, ADHD, relationship struggles, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. Together, we’ll build clarity, healthier patterns, and greater confidence to move forward towards the life you want. My focus I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship strain, career stress and burnout, job loss, divorce, family conflict, and co-parenting challenges. I also help clients rebuild self-worth and identity when struggles around work, parenting, or relationships leave them feeling uncertain or disconnected. My approach When I engage with clients in therapy I strive to create a safe, open and non-judgmental space where you can explore the past and the present in order to shape the future you wish to create. Individuals and couples who work with me are seen, heard, validated, and valued for who they are and for where they are in life. My communication style I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship strain, career stress and burnout, job loss, divorce, family conflict, and co-parenting challenges. I also help clients rebuild self-worth and identity when struggles around work, parenting, or relationships leave them feeling uncertain or disconnected. My journey to mental healthcare The end of a 10 year relationship and burnout in a 19 year IT career led me to therapy. It was hard and productive work which changed my life, and through therapy I found happiness within myself. I so loved the work I left Microsoft, went back to school for a MA in Counseling. Best decision I ever made because I wake up every day loving my job. My goals for you I help clients turn insight into lasting change through a structured, practical, and collaborative process.
