Prof Checkett holds degrees in four scientific disciplines within the social sciences: communication, pastoral psychology, social work, and is the first man in history to earn a master's degree in Women's Studies in Florida. He's therefore very comfortable helping with women's issues and communication problems with couples. John uses several approaches and often draws upon cognitive behavioral therapy and psycho-education.
