What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that I focus on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe therapy works best when there is trust, honesty, and collaboration between the client and therapist. My approach is practical, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I work with clients at their own pace while helping them identify strengths, improve emotional awareness, develop coping skills, and overcome obstacles affecting their wellbeing and daily life. I have experience helping clients struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, addiction recovery, stress, relationship concerns, behavioral issues, and emotional regulation. I strive to provide support that is personalized, encouraging, and focused on helping clients achieve lasting progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session focuses on understanding the client’s concerns, personal history, emotional wellbeing, and goals for treatment. I take time to listen carefully and create a comfortable space where clients can openly discuss their experiences and challenges. Together, we develop a treatment plan tailored to the client’s individual needs and goals. Sessions may focus on identifying emotional patterns, improving coping strategies, addressing behavioral concerns, processing difficult experiences, managing anxiety or depression, strengthening relationships, or supporting recovery and personal growth. My sessions are collaborative and client-centered. I use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, and supportive counseling to help clients build confidence, resilience, emotional stability, and healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges.
