Hi, I’m John – and I’m here to help you find your way forward.
As a licensed mental health counselor with multiple advanced degrees in counseling, healthcare, business, and human resources, I bring both heart and strategy to the healing journey. But beyond the credentials, I’m someone who deeply believes in the power of human connection, storytelling, and transformation.
I specialize in working with youth, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, trauma, and relationship challenges. I’m especially passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals facing sexual health concerns, and those walking through life transitions or addiction recovery. My training includes EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Christian counseling—allowing me to tailor our work together in ways that feel safe, relevant, and empowering for you.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, compassionate, and culturally informed. I believe therapy should be a collaborative space where you feel heard, challenged, and supported. Whether we’re working on healing past wounds, building better communication in your relationships, or simply navigating life’s curveballs—I meet you where you are, without judgment.
I became a therapist because I’ve seen how powerful it is to have someone in your corner. That calling continues to drive me today. There’s nothing more fulfilling than witnessing someone reclaim their sense of peace, purpose, and identity.
When I’m not in session, I’m likely mentoring, building community programs, creating events that amplify wellness, or spending time with loved ones. I’m a proud advocate, a lifelong learner, and someone who believes laughter can be healing, too.
