Psychotherapist
CA
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT49175). I have been practicing as an LMFT for over 16 years. My experience includes working with Adults and Couples. My main approach is using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My main goal is to help people realize their power and potential through learning skills like Problem-Solving and Planning. I specialize in helping people overcome Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused, and conflict-resolution strategies when working with couples. My focus I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, anger management, and couples trying to preserve their relationship as well as people recently divorced. My communication style I try to provide a stress-free experience with my clients and help them learn problem-solving and planning to reduce depression from being stuck in the past and planning to help clients reduce anxiety and worry over the future. My journey to mental healthcare I decided I wanted to become a therapist in my last year of undergrad. My psychology professor was very influential and inspiring which helped me to fall in love with psychotherapy and want to help people overcome the issues in life that cause us to become stuck and sometimes give up. My goals for you I help clients create both short-term and long-term goals in which I build strategies with the client to help assure success in reaching goals. My first session with you Clients should expect that I will listen to their unique issue(s) in the first session, get to know them more personally and build a therapeutic relationship with them.
