Psychotherapist
CO
Welcome, I'm a therapist with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Master’s in Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s from Sonoma State University. I provide a Superbill—a professional receipt that helps you gain partial or full reimbursement from your insurance for our sessions. This can be valuable if you’re working toward meeting your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. Also, check your benefits if you have PPO insurance. You can pay with HSA/FSA. Now, I’m glad you’re here! Chances are, you’re wishing your relationship didn’t need therapy. Perhaps you’re wondering if there’s hope to restore the love you once had. Deep down, you know the love’s there and don’t want things to be so difficult; but conversations are becoming touchy, and resentment is taking over. Sure, there are some good days, but it could be better. Both of you are trying your best to navigate life’s stresses: exhausting commutes, job pressures, kids, and the never-ending laundry—all demanding your attention and what little time you have left. Work-life balance feels like a pipe dream, and you might think, “Uggh, now we have to work on our relationship!” What’s left is the ever-looming, “Are we going to make it...? Something needs to give because I can’t go on like this...” You are not alone. I am here to help! I won’t sugarcoat the effort it will take to transform the areas causing stress and disconnection. Are you willing and ready to shift that same energy spent ‘dealing with it all’ into productive communication, collaboration, and loving connection? I hope so! Remember, you haven’t given up yet. You can have the relationship you once had and get it closer to where you want it to be. My guidance will offer simple shifts, and over time, you will feel the results come back into your marriage. What should a new client know about working with you?

For our first session, it's fair to expect a warm and inviting presence. Know that I'm active in the therapeutic process and I also give time for reflection. You can expect to be working with someone who is not new to therapy or the field. I tend to hold the first couple of sessions by asking questions designed help focus our work together. I also tend to focus on strengths and how to use those strengths to move towards success.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typical sessions, are online and conversationally based. I typically check in on what you've worked on from the prior session, along with any updates from the previous week. Usually there is follow up on the action items that were discussed in the session prior. And I ask what you'd like to cover in the current session.

In-network insurances

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $200 for 50 minutes
