“Working with Johnathan Rosenbloom has been life changing. When I first started therapy I was struggling with old trauma and self-esteem issues I had been carrying for years. I didn’t realize how much it had been impacting my self-image, worldview, and the way I interacted with others. Through EMDR and compassionate guidance I’ve been able to process experiences I had accepted would always hold power over me. Over time I’ve become more grounded, confident, and at peace with myself. I never once felt judged throughout the process. Every session feels healing and I’m finally feeling happy and comfortable being who I am. If you’re struggling with self worth and trauma don’t hesitate to connect. Johnathan has given me back a sense of hope that I wasn’t sure was possible for myself.”

Getting to know Jonathan Rosenbloom

I am a licensed clinical therapist with a Master's in Social Work from Hunter College, City University of New York, and a Bachelor's degree from Queens College, City University of New York. I have experience dealing with difficult life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression. These issues never exist in a vacuum and almost always become entangled with each other, becoming overwhelming at times.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect transparency, authenticity, and empathy when meeting with me. I tend to use a personalized approach to therapy, using cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic modalities to focus on challenging negative core beliefs, while building positive and sustainable coping techniques.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy can be daunting, but it’s also a journey. I invite you to bring your strengths, challenges, hopes, and fears, and share them in a safe, empathic space while working with me.

Ongoing session: $250 for 60 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
