I'm Dr. Jonathan Spikes, a mental health counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families heal, grow, and build resilience. My practice focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where we address challenges such as trauma, stress, and life transitions while developing tools for lasting emotional wellness. I believe in meeting clients where they are and walking with them toward the healthier, more fulfilling life they deserve. My approach to treatment is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person's unique journey. I use evidence-based practices-such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies-while also focusing on building trust and creating a safe space for open conversation. My ideal clients are individuals and families who may feel overwhelmed by life's challenges-whether it's coping with trauma, navigating stress, managing anxiety or depression, or working through difficult transitions. I also work closely with young people who are learning to find their voice and build resilience in the face of adversity.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
