“I’ve been working with Jordan for several months now, and I’m very grateful for his support. Going through a divorce is challenging and comes with increased anxiety, guilt, self-deprecation, and self-reflection. Jordan has always been kind, attentive, and able to listen without judgment. I’ve gained valuable tools to manage my stress/anxiety levels and better understand myself. Sessions feel safe and encouraging, and I always leave feeling more grounded. I highly recommend Jordan to anyone seeking help with anxiety and/or sensory processing differences. Jordan is extremely professional and compassionate and will treat you like a friend more than a client.”

Getting to know Jordan Harber

Mr. Jordan Harber is a skilled and compassionate psychotherapist. He provides virtual counseling through his private practice. Mr. Harber sees patients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. He listens to them during consultations, explains their conditions, and helps them select an appropriate treatment plan. As part of his formal education, Mr. Harber completed a master's degree in marriage and family therapy at the University of San Diego. He is committed to helping the wider community receive the care they deserve.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with young adults navigating the challenges of complex trauma, emotion dysregulation, impulsivity, and identifying their emotions. Many of my clients are college students, recent graduates, or early-mid career professionals who feel stuck repeating the same cycles despite their best efforts to change their behavior. I take a holistic and skills-based approach to help clients break these cycles. I am also experienced in treating individuals with Autism (or ASD-like traits), and am certified to provide emotion regulation techniques, social-relational skills, and practical tools for organization. There are lots of different ways to do therapy, but I will always make sure that you have both a non-judgmental space to share, and that you walk away with practical skills to help you deal with life’s challenges. My goal is to help you feel heard and leave empowered.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My sessions run about 50 minutes, and I implement a combination of talk therapy and skill based experiential sessions. I always take time to get to know my clients so that whatever interventions we might use are being tailored to the client's strengths and barriers.

My therapist Jordan has always been very helpful and respectful during telehealth sessions. He always listens to my concerns in a non judgmental way. He is always professional. He has taught me many coping techniques.
Intuitive, understanding, kind, and knowledgeable, I love working with Jordan. He’s my first male therapist, and I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable I was and thankful for the safe space to be open he provided in session. His talent for keeping things honest and nonjudgmental is exceptional. A provider I absolutely trust.
Jordan has be amazing! When we first started meeting, I was struggling with anxiety at both work and home. So much so for work that I was throwing up every morning before going to work or calling out sick because I just didn't want to go in. After several sessions with Jordan, he gave me tools, tips and techniques I could use to calm down, and get myself back to a helpful and not destructive mindset. I would recommend Jordan to anyone in need of an excellent therapist who can help you in your mental health journey.
