“Jordan is an incredible therapist. I have struggled with OCD for years with various subtypes. She made me feel completely heard and understood even though I have struggled with my own reservations with opening up regarding my intrusions due to my OCD/trauma. I am feeling extremely grateful to have met such a well-informed therapist. I am extremely excited to continue working with Jordan & her techniques surrounding neuro-feedback & brain mapping; I truly feel like she is the missing piece I have been looking for to continue my healing journey. - D.”

Getting to know Jordan Hirshon

With over a decade of experience in the neurotherapy field and as a licensed mental health counselor, I offer a thoughtful, integrative approach to healing that supports the brain and person as a whole. My work combines evidence-based psychotherapy with neuromodulation to help clients regulate their nervous system, process emotional blocks, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, attention difficulties, or a general sense of feeling stuck, my goal is to help you better understand your internal patterns—and to shift them. Neurotherapy offers a unique, non-invasive way to train the brain toward greater balance, while therapy provides space to explore the emotional and relational patterns that shape your experience. Clients who work with me are often seeking more than symptom relief—they’re looking to feel more connected to themselves, more present in their lives, and more equipped to handle challenges with clarity and resilience. Many people discover neurotherapy after trying multiple other therapies that didn’t quite create the change they hoped for. If that’s where you are, I want you to know: you’re not alone, and there is another path forward. At LI Neurofeedback, we support you in building a bridge between insight and nervous system regulation—so healing feels not only possible, but sustainable. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW: I operate out of my home office. This location does have cats on the premises but they are kept out of the office.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Someone who works with me should know that, in addition to neurotherapy and psychotherapy, I will provide psychoeducation on neurological mechanisms that are leading to symptoms of anxiety, depression, panic, etc.; clients tend to find this extremely helpful! It feels good to know why you are feeling something on a neurological AND emotional level. Clients should also know that neurotherapy is my passion. Having undergone this treatment myself I understand the type of change it can produce and I believe in it whole heartedly. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW: I operate out of my home office. This location does have cats on the premises but they are kept out of the office. The fee for talk therapy is $150/hour or $120/45 minutes. The fee for neurotherapy is $200/hour.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first step to neurotherapy treatments is a time brain map. During this appointment I will put a cap on your head and look at your brain under 4 conditions: eyes open, eyes closed, a visual response test and an auditory response test. This lets a trained neurotherapist like myself understand your brain, how it differs from the norm, and where those differences overlap with your symptoms. From there, I create a custom protocol to address these symptoms and set up sessions in 45 minute blocks. Typically, clients come in 2x/week initially and then decrease sessions as change takes place. During neurotherapy sessions we are training the brain using various types of neuromodulation or classic neurofeedback. Every 10-15 sessions we will reassess to get a new baseline and a new protocol. Changes can be both seen via brainmap images, and felt by you! IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW: I operate out of my home office. Jordan has a great understanding of neurofeedback and is really good at explaining things to me in a way that makes sense. Since starting neuro treatment my anxiety is a lot better. The change in my anxiety has been gentle and slow. I thought it would be something I would notice strongly, but instead it's been a gradual decline in symptom severity. It took a few sessions before I noticed anything, but now I am calmer and my anxiety feels so much further away from me
Jordan was professional, and she was a sweetheart from start to finish. I will definitely schedule another appointment with her. I highly recommend.

I found Jordan to be extreme welcoming, and I felt comfortable immediately. She explained with great clarity the exact nature of what this appointment would entail. She has tremendous knowledge of the subject matter and made sure I understood everything she was doing. I would highly recommend Jordan to everyone... As a matter of fact, I already have!
Jordan was incredibly thorough in her examination and took the time to inform me on everything that she found in my scans. Would easily recommend to anyone looking to understand their mind and the affect it has on their daily mental health.
Jordan is an outstanding therapist who truly cares about her clients. She creates a safe, welcoming space and offers thoughtful guidance that makes a real difference. I always leave our sessions feeling heard, supported, and empowered. Highly recommend!
I've never had a dr listen to me the ay Dr. Hirshon does. I felt like every word I said was carefully taken into consideration. I could not recommend her more. She's immensely talented!
Jordan is truly amazing at what she does! Her neurofeedback sessions have been life-changing for me. She has this unique ability to make you feel heard, cared for, and understood, all while guiding you through a process that actually works. You can tell she genuinely wants the best for every client, and she goes above and beyond to make sure you see results. I’ve noticed such a difference in my energy, focus, and overall peace of mind since working with her. If you’ve been thinking about trying neurofeedback, I promise you, you won’t find anyone better than Jordan.
