What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating multiple treatment modalities. I rely on feedback from clients to understand if they prefer a more structured approach with tasks and homework or a more fluid approach that is more conversational in nature. Often times, a combined approach can be helpful as well. I believe it is okay to be exactly where you are. However, for your sake, I do not believe it is okay to stay there. God has so much more for you and I would be honored to have the opportunity to help you discover it.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

While I work with a variety of diagnoses, most clients attending therapy report issues with: worry, fear, sadness, unhealthy thought patterns, self-doubt, shame, difficulty managing stress and emotions, trauma, difficult life transitions, etc. Treatment is specifically tailored to the individual and to resolving symptoms that are keeping them from thriving. I provide virtual therapy to adolescent and adult residents across NC using a secure video platform that is both HIPAA-compliant and convenient. This format allows you to schedule appointments that fit your schedule, such as, on your lunch break or while the kids are napping.
