Getting to know Jordan Neves

Disclaimer: please note that I am not a doctor and cannot prescribe medication. I am a therapist and can provide a space for therapy. I am a mental health therapist dedicated to helping individuals feel more in control of their lives and more connected to what truly matters to them. My approach is warm, honest, and practical. I focus on solution-oriented, actionable support that helps foster emotional growth and real, lasting change. I use a holistic, trauma-informed lens that respects each person’s lived experiences and nervous system needs. I support clients in working through trauma and the ways it can show up, such as anxiety or depression. If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, therapy can be a space to slow down, find clarity, and reconnect with what matters most to you. My clinical work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, person-centered and solution-focused approaches, parts-informed interventions, Adlerian therapy, mindfulness-based and somatic techniques, strengths-based therapy, and Brainspotting. Together, we collaborate to build practical tools, deepen self-understanding, and create sustainable change aligned with your authentic self.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is not just short-term relief, but meaningful, lasting change that feels aligned with who you are and how you want to live. My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, meaning I consider both your life experiences and how stress and emotions show up in your nervous system. Sessions may include exploring patterns and insight, building practical coping tools, and incorporating mindfulness or somatic strategies when helpful. New clients can expect a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative experience. I value honesty and authenticity in the therapy room and strive to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood. While I bring clinical structure and direction to our work, I also honor your pace and individual needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions focus on getting to know you and your history, current challenges, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand patterns, stressors, and how your experiences may be impacting both your emotions and nervous system. Together, we’ll clarify goals and create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. Ongoing sessions are collaborative and structured, while still flexible. We may explore insights, process past or present experiences, and practice practical tools drawn from CBT, parts-informed, mindfulness, or somatic approaches. I often incorporate skill-building alongside deeper emotional work so you leave sessions with both understanding and actionable strategies. Throughout our work, I check in regularly about progress and adjust our approach as needed to ensure therapy remains aligned with your goals.

Truly a breath of fresh air. I have been to a handful of therapists, but I have finally found one who creates the perfect balance between thoughtful feedback, genuine compassion, and consistent support. Jordan is patient centered, attentive, and incredibly supportive. I feel heard, understood, and encouraged every session. Thank you, Jordan!
Jordan was everything I was hoping for in a therapist. His young and positive approach to life has left him with zero room for judgment. I felt comfortable right away and he somehow helped me feel so much better about a super rough situation. He helped me see things from such an interesting perspective. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is afraid of starting their journey with therapy or worried that the judgment of talking about hard stuff is just too much. I can almost promise he will make you feel comfortable right away as well.
