Dr. Jordan Valentic, PsyD

Psychotherapist
1 E Superior St, Ste 306, Chicago, IL
“Jordan Valentic” is a pre-licensed provider working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner I take a collaborative, real, and human approach to therapy. At the center of my work is the relationship itself, built on trust, openness, and honesty. My goal is to help you make sense of where you’ve been and how it shows up in your life now, so you can move forward with clarity and resilience. My style is approachable and nonjudgmental, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and psychodynamic perspectives. I work to understand your values, emotions, and lived experience, and conversations about culture, identity, and the systems that impact us are welcomed and encouraged. I have worked with adults and couples across a range of settings, supporting people navigating trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I see trauma as any experience, big or small, that leaves a lasting impact, and believe healing begins with making space to explore those experiences safely and openly. I earned my PsyD from Roosevelt University and completed my APA-accredited internship in the Chicagoland area. I am originally from New Zealand and came to the USA as a student athlete, an experience that taught me a lot about transitioning through life’s different stages. Currently, I call Chicago my home and enjoying spending my time running around the lake or Chicago’s beautiful parks.
