Jordana Ballesteros, LCPC

Psychotherapist
10 N Lake St, Ste 109, Grayslake, IL
Hi! Welcome to your first step toward a journey of self-awareness and growth! My role is to guide you through the process of working through insecurities, anxiety, and/or addictions to illicit substances. Finding a safe place to express our truths and work through our challenges can lead us to success. Over the past decade, I have assisted court and non-court-involved clients in developing S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely). This helps our time become focused, allowing you to clearly recognize the hurdles and successes. As a Latina, I also provide a safe space for those whose cultural roles add an extra layer of burden to life's challenges. Latin culture is full of diversity and vibrancy, as well as many stereotypes that resist anything outside the typical roles of men and women. I am also fluent in Spanish, so feel free to say words in your native tongue that you don't feel comfortable expressing in English. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from National Louis University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively on this journey.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
