Getting to know Joseph Barry

My role as your therapist is to guide you in your process of self-discovery, challenge those internal thoughts that can be defeating, and empower you to pursue your goals as you gain an increased understanding of your life and find solutions to your situations. Some of my areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, body image, relationship and marital issues, childhood abuse, PTSD, substance use, trauma, and grief and loss. I am a retired veteran with 26 years of service, I work with veterans and their families. I have experience working with the LGBTQ community and autism spectrum. My approach is Person-Centered in addition to Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
