Hello, I am glad you took the time to read my biography. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a heart for people seeking empowerment and growth. I personally know what this feels like and how difficult it can be. I was blessed to have people in my life who helped me during my "trying times." Honestly, I still do. I am bilingual (Spanish) and have been practicing for 13 years. I have worked with teenagers, adults, and couples. I do not work with children due to my lack of training. My experience includes working with addictions and various disorders. I believe in both therapy and medication and am culturally competent to utilize these as resources. My heart is in working with trauma, and I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I believe my job is to help clients reach the point where they no longer need my services—that’s right, to get myself fired! I believe we were created in the image of the Creator, which means we have the ability to love and be loved and the freedom to make wise decisions that help navigate us through this journey we are on. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
