Joseph Molinar, LPC Associate

Joseph Molinar, LPC Associate

Psychotherapist
TX
With two master’s degrees and more than eight years of experience in the mental health field, I bring extensive education, clinical knowledge, and real-world experience to my work with clients. I earned a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Sul Ross State University and a Master of Science in Sociology from East Texas A&M University, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. This multidisciplinary education allows me to understand mental health through both an individual and broader social perspective—including how relationships, family systems, culture, identity, and life experiences can affect emotional well-being. Throughout my career, I have supported adults, adolescents, and children in outpatient mental health clinics, ongoing counseling settings, and crisis environments. This experience has prepared me to help people through both everyday struggles and some of life’s most difficult moments. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief and loss, major life transitions, and concerns related to LGBTQ+ identity and experiences. I combine evidence-based clinical approaches with a genuine, down-to-earth counseling style, creating a space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas and practice under the supervision of Abby Jo Hawkins, LPC-S.
