Getting to know Josette Davis

Welcome to LifeStance. It's a pleasure to serve individuals in their therapeutic journeys. I hold a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University and a Bachelors of Arts in Rehabilitation Studies and Psychology from the University of North Texas. My work experience includes working with diverse populations at OHSU in the Social Work field and at the Family Justice Center serving domestic/sexual assault survivors. I am currently a professional counselor associate with the OBLPCT and under the supervision of Julie Keanaaina, LCSW. My theoretical orientation is a multi-dimensional and multi-cultural framework that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative and Person-Centered Therapy. I value cultural diversity and multiculturalism to walk alongside those that have experienced trauma, oppression, and marginalization.
