I’ve always been curious about people’s journeys – their dreams, their trials, and everything in between. For many years, I worked closely with clients from all walks of life in the world of finance. Yet, there was a common thread that caught my attention – the pivotal role mental health played in their lives. As I delved deeper into the stories of those I worked with, I recognized that mental health wasn’t just a compartmentalized aspect; it was the cornerstone of many challenges people faced. This realization sparked a profound shift within me. I yearned to understand the core of my clients’ issues, to truly help them overcome obstacles and forge a brighter path ahead. My background began in financial services, where I spent nine years working closely with institutional and individual clients in wealth management. This experience gave me a deep understanding of client needs, a skill I carry seamlessly into my counseling practice. My true calling, however, lies in mental health. Driven by a passion to make a positive impact, I transitioned into clinical mental health counseling. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University, which provided a strong foundation for my commitment to helping individuals overcome life’s challenges. With this unique blend of financial expertise and empathy, I bring a distinctive perspective to the therapeutic relationship. I have gained extensive experience addressing a diverse range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders.
