I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and senior adults with issues including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, self-esteem, anger management, trauma, and adjusting to and coping with life’s stressors. I also have experience in assisting LGBTQ+ clients with identity exploration and transition. As a counselor, I use Solution-Focused techniques to help my clients set and achieve their goals for therapy in order to lead more fulfilling lives. I also use CBT techniques to help my clients recognize and understand internal barriers that may be hindering them from reaching their goals. Fundamentally, I believe that you are the expert in your own life; you are an important collaborator in therapy. I am here to give feedback, suggest coping skills, assist in overcoming obstacles, and provide a non-judgmental and empathic environment. If you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to reach out and schedule an appointment with me today.
