Take your healing to new heights. Are you seeking a space to explore the “hard stuff”? Have you been struggling to get past survival-mode living? Do you long for a genuine, authentic connection to yourself and others? I work with clients who desire to get to the root of their struggles. Whether you want to overcome your symptoms, process something difficult that has happened to you, or explore cycles and patterns that aren’t serving you, I am here to help. As a trauma therapist and embodied human, I recognize the importance of bottom-up therapies, working from our visceral responses to facilitate healing and change. I am fully trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I also use mindfulness techniques, parts work, and a person-centered, strength-based approach. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree from Chatham University, as well as an Associate’s degree from the Community College of Allegheny County. Together, we can elevate your self-work and self-worth. Let’s work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Research shows the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of successful treatment. In the first few sessions, we will focus on building this relationship by exploring your current problems, your strengths, personal history, and goals and expectations for therapy and life. During this time, we will also focus on building your internal and external resources, like self-care, your support system, and grounding techniques to use in and out of session. From there, we will decide together what treatment interventions (EMDR, parts work, CBT, Gestalt) are best and most appropriate for your needs.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
