Psychotherapist

“Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s meaningful and challenging seasons. I specialize in working with anxiety disorders, OCD, perfectionistic thought patterns, life transitions, and low self-worth, helping clients develop more balanced ways of thinking and responding to stress. I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and move through conflict with greater understanding and intention. In addition, I support women and families navigating postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as the emotional adjustments that often come with new parenthood and identity shifts. Parenthood can be exhausting and overwhelming, and having a supportive, nonjudgmental space to process these experiences can make a meaningful difference. My approach is collaborative and evidence-based, grounded in the belief that healing happens within safe, supportive relationships. Together, we will focus on practical tools, emotional clarity, and lasting change so you can feel more confident, connected, and empowered.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

Getting Started With Me — What New Clients Should Know I create a safe, collaborative space. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens within safe, supportive relationships. From the very first session, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely supported — not judged. I work with a wide range of concerns. I specialize in anxiety disorders, OCD, perfectionist thinking patterns, life transitions, and low self-worth. I also work with couples looking to strengthen their communication and connection, and with women and families navigating postpartum depression and anxiety. I focus on practical tools and lasting change. My approach is evidence-based and collaborative. Together we will work on building emotional clarity, developing practical coping strategies, and creating real, lasting change — not just short-term relief. New parenthood is something I take seriously. Parenthood can be exhausting and overwhelming, and I believe having a nonjudgmental space to process those experiences can make a meaningful difference for both you and your family. Insurance options are available. I accept most major insurances as well as self-pay for those who prefer that option.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with a free 15-minute consultation call so we can get a feel for each other and talk about what's bringing you to therapy. From there, the first one to two sessions are dedicated to getting to know you — your history, your goals, and what you're hoping to shift or heal. I work collaboratively, because I believe healing happens within safe, supportive relationships. Therapy isn't something I do *to* you — it's something we navigate together. Sessions are 55 minutes and held weekly, especially in the beginning, to build momentum and trust. Depending on what you're working through — whether that's anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, a major life transition, low self-worth, relationship patterns, or the emotional weight of new parenthood — I draw from evidence-based approaches tailored to what resonates with you. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; your therapy should feel like it fits *you*. Together, we'll focus on practical tools, emotional clarity, and lasting change so you can feel more confident, connected, and empowered. As we move forward, we'll regularly check in on progress and adjust as needed. Some clients work with me short-term around a specific issue; others prefer longer-term support. That's always your choice, and I'll honor wherever you are in that process.
