Getting to know Juan Angel

I strive to empower individuals to be in tune with their deepest truths and to relate to life in a more authentic way. By providing a warm and accepting environment, I hope my clients feel safe to express what matters to them. My therapeutic approach is strongly influenced by more than 12 years of dedicated mindfulness practice. Through such practices, I have come to understand the value of becoming curious about our present mental state. I believe paying close attention to our experience is fundamental in developing emotional resiliency. I utilize mindfulness and somatic approaches in supporting people to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. In doing so, I trust that our ability to welcome our experience creates possibilities for healing and being emotionally stronger.
