Getting to know Juan Ceron-Yupe

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, and have been providing psychotherapy for over nine years at a community outpatient mental health clinic in a multicultural environment. My experience includes treating clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, schizophrenia, bipolar and adjustment disorders, health and weight issues, current and past unresolved trauma, and grief. I incorporate an eclectic model approach using techniques from Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Modification, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, client-centered therapy, crisis interventions, and trauma-focused methods. I am bilingual and can hold sessions in English, Spanish, or ?Spanglish.? Additionally, maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyle gives me valuable insight to assist clients struggling with health and weight issues.
