Hello, my name is Juana (sounds like “wanna”). Are you feeling stressed, anxious, or irritable? Do you feel stuck, lost, or unmotivated? Are you struggling to heal from trauma, even from childhood? Have you tried to solve your problems alone and realized you need help? If you answered yes, you’ve made the right choice by being here. Seeking help can be hard—shame, embarrassment, or cultural beliefs may cause hesitation. Let’s work together! I can help equip you with tools to face and overcome your challenges. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or anger, you don’t have to be alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s in Counseling from Troy University, I’ve had the honor to assist people in growth and transformation. I served with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, helping Veterans work through PTSD from combat and Military Sexual Trauma (MST). I’ve also worked at nonprofit agencies serving men and women with anger, depression, and anxiety related to domestic violence and childhood sexual trauma. Additionally, I’ve supported adolescents and families struggling with substance abuse. From these experiences, I know no two individuals are the same, so I use a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique challenges. Together, we’ll identify root causes and develop long-lasting strategies to help you move closer to the life you want. I enjoy working with individuals, children (ages 10+), couples, and families concerned with mood and mental health issues. I specialize in anxiety, depression, anger, and trauma. I am also certified as a Prepare-Enrich Facilitator, a proven approach for couples at all stages, including pre-marital and seriously dating, to improve relationship satisfaction. As a proud Army Veteran, the spirit of “never leave a fallen comrade” remains with me, so all are welcome here. This can be your safe space, without fear or judgment. You are not alone.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
