Psychotherapist
175 Langley Dr, Ste E3, Lawrenceville, GA
Hello, I'm Judi. Growing up in a large family, I had no choice but to work out disagreements and accept outcomes I didn't always like. This early experience with conflict resolution played a significant role in my decision to become a counselor. I realized that everyone must reconcile with the difficulties they face, and I wanted to help others navigate these challenges. I am originally from NY, however I have been in GA with my husband and 2 adult children for 20 years. I acknowledge the support necessary both internally and externally to form organic relationships and gain a new sense of self. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA, I bring a wealth of personal and professional experiences to my practice. Over the years, I've developed an organic rapport and genuine chemistry with my clients, which I believe are essential for effective therapy. My approach is rooted in understanding and empathy, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and valued. I specialize in a wide range of areas, including anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief and bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, multicultural and diversity issues, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, sex and intimacy issues, spirituality, stress, and trauma. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or just need someone to talk to, I'm here to help. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and non-judgmental space where we work together to explore your thoughts and feelings. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and ultimately, find a path to healing and growth. If you're ready to take the first step towards a more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to navigate the challenges you're facing and find a way forward.
