Judith Stout, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Judith! My name is Judith Stout, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from John F. Kennedy University. To me, therapy is about helping individuals become their true, authentic selves. This includes supporting clients as they overcome childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, as well as helping them cope with life events and transitions. My approach I strive to create a comforting and accepting space where you'll be seen, heard, and understood. Specializing in DBT, mindfulness practice, somatic and parts work, I am passionate about helping others heal from deep attachment wounds. My goal is to help you become your best and most authentic self from the inside out. My focus I work with individuals ages 16 and up, providing individual therapy services. I have experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also treat anxiety and anxiety-related disorders, depression and mood disorders, trauma and related disorders, personality disorders, stress, grief and loss, and ADHD. My communication style My communication style is calm and non-judgmental. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive, and empowering environment where clients feel safe to open up and share their concerns. I understand how difficult it can be to discuss personal issues with someone outside your support system, so I prioritize warmth and compassion while using a strengths-based approach tailored to each client's needs. My journey to mental healthcare I decided to become a therapist because I've always wanted to help people on their journey. Even before becoming a therapist, family and friends often came to me for advice. I love seeing people succeed and become the most authentic versions of themselves each day.
