Julian is a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. He is also an assistant professor of Marriage and Family Therapy and a clinical supervisor. He has helped many couples and families acquire the necessary skills needed to cope with very real relational problems (e.g., communication issues, infidelity, and power dynamics). He also helps individuals from multiple cultural and ethnic backgrounds struggling with anxiety, depression, acculturation, and discrimination/oppression issues. Julian works through the lenses of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.
