Getting to know Julie Batson

Hello, I'm Julie. With over 20 years of clinical experience, my main focus has been the effective treatment of PTSD. For more than 13 years, I have had the privilege of providing therapy to combat veterans and those struggling with military sexual trauma. I deeply value the process of building trust, rapport, and safety with my clients, as I believe this is the bedrock of the therapeutic relationship. I am certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, an evidence-based treatment for PTSD, and have extensive experience helping individuals navigate through PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic suicidal ideation, grief and loss, anger management, and building healthy relationships. My approach is client-centered and compassionate, aiming to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, spending time at the lake, and traveling with my husband and family. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to my life.
