Julie Blythe, Therapy Julie Blythe, R.N., M. Div, LCSW, CCTP. Hello and welcome to Julie Blythe, Therapy. I am glad you are here. In order to know whether I am a good fit for you, let me tell you about myself and my understanding of what it means to be your therapist. In my past lives, I have been an OB/Gyne/NICU and Pediatric R.N. My specialty working as an OB R.N. was working with families whose babies did not survive. Having a baby is a joyful thing until it goes wrong. That is where I came in. I worked with these families in the hospital and ran a monthly SHARE group and a Pregnancy After Loss group. I left nursing and went to Eden Theological Seminary where I graduated with my Master’s in Divinity. I worked as an ordained Presbyterian pastor and chaplain for 15 years. Again, as a chaplain, my specialty was working with families who lost their children. I also have my Pastoral Care Specialist certification. I did a lot of pastoral counseling during my time as a pastor. I realized that counseling was truly my passion. So, I went back to school – again! I received my Master’s in Social Work and have been working as a therapist for the last five years. I have my CCTP certification meaning that I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am currently working toward getting my CCTP II. In my practice I see adults and children aged 10 and up. I am willing to consider seeing younger children on a case by case basis. I also do couple’s therapy. I am happy to include your spirituality in your therapy but you will be the one who brings that up. There are some clients who may be nervous about the fact that I am an ordained minister. I want to assure you that you take the lead on any discussions about religion/spirituality. I treat people with the following: Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar I and II,

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
