Getting to know Julie Boudreau

Welcome! I am a clinical social worker licensed in Michigan with 30 years of experience in the field and 8 years providing mental health therapy using evidenced based practices. I currently provide school based mental health services in a district with high acuity. Prior to that I was a full-time therapist for a mental health agency. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Michigan University in 1991 and my Master of Social Work from Michigan State University in 2003. I am a certified EMDR therapist and have certification in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I am trained in full model Dialectical behavioral therapy and incorporate these evidenced based treatments into my practice. I also draw from mindfulness based therapy, polyvagal treatment approaches, attachment based therapy, IFS and somatic therapy.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
