I am Julie L. Cagle, M.Ed., LPC-Associate, a trauma-informed mental health counselor serving adults in outpatient private-practice and PHP/IOP settings. I earned a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University with a 4.0 GPA and work under LPC-S supervision. My clinical experience includes individual, group, and family-based care for adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, substance use, and co-occurring concerns. I conduct biopsychosocial and risk assessments, develop treatment and safety plans, monitor symptoms, provide psychoeducation, complete clinical documentation, coordinate care, and support discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a primary framework while integrating cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy skills. My approach is calm, collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's values and goals. I strive to create a respectful and supportive environment where clients can explore difficult experiences, increase psychological flexibility, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical coping and communication skills. My goal is to help clients move toward meaningful, values-based action and create sustainable long-term change.
