I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with substantial clinical and school-based experience who provides therapeutic treatment to children, adolescents, parents and young adults. I specialize in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, and OCD-related disorders, including Tourette's Syndrome and Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), such as Trichotillomania and Excoriation Disorder. I create a warm, non-judgmental, child-friendly environment in which clients can feel comfortable identifying and processing their feelings, while confronting intimidating emotional realities that may serve as potential barriers to maximizing their overall functioning and wellbeing. As the famous Maya Angelou once said, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better."
