Getting to know Julie Decoste

Hello and welcome. I’m glad you’re here. For most, starting therapy can be pretty intimidating. I’m here to help make this process as easy as possible for you. You can expect genuine, compassionate, and empathetic care from me. The relationship between client and therapist is key to success, and I take great care to develop a trusting and therapeutic relationship with each individual. With over 8 years of experience in mental health, I have a special interest in treating adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, PTSD, ADHD, panic disorders, body dysmorphia, chronic health issues, life transitions, and burnout. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy and enjoy incorporating aspects of mindfulness into treatment. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University. Making the call is the first step. I look forward to working together and helping you on your journey toward a better life.
