What should a new client know about working with you?

My professional experience is expansive, from providing support related to work/family/relationships stressors, mood disorders, life transitions, etc. My style is focused, down-to-earth and interactive. Together we will identify obstacles and work through barriers that inhibit optimal functioning, growth and fulfillment, to achieve desired goals.You are individual and unique, like no other. My primary modality is person-centered, focused on respecting and discovering your unique qualities. This is the foundation which is expanded with modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Upon assessing your individual needs, we design a therapy plan with goals and a maintenance plan. I will empower and help you identify future goals and overcome obstacles so you may create a life path that is special to you. In our initial session together I will provide the guidelines/what to expect from therapy, gather present and background information and develop goals for treatment.
