My goal in counseling is to create a comfortable and trusting environment to explore areas of life that are challenging, stressful or ineffective. My style is compassionate, encouraging and motivating. Through individual oriented services that utilize research-validated treatment approaches, I strive to empower clients to increase self-worth and gain new insights of possible solutions. My focus is on the client's experience and assisting each person to achieve their goals. Treatment is confidential, person-centered and strength based. I enjoy working with individuals (adults, children, adolescents), couples and families in dealing with personal and relationship challenges. I am trained in EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, Hypnosis, Grief & Loss, Crisis Intervention, Adoption, Play Therapy, Behavior Management, and am a Board Approved Supervisor. I am equipped to assist my clients with many issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, smoking cessation, weight management, PTSD, trauma, adoption. I have been providing counseling to individuals in the Tulsa area for more than 15 years. I provide counseling in the office and through telehealth.
