“I was specifically helped with my booking by June Sudomerski from Pittsburgh. She was exceptional! She had a challenge to match me with the right therapist that was in my insurance plan. She spent most of a Friday afternoon searching for me, calling me multiple times with updates. At 4:45 I figured we would resolve it on Monday. Not June! At about 4:58 she called to tell me she had the right therapist for me! I doubt everyone will be as good as June, but if they make it halfway there you’ll be very happy! I know I am!
I’ve had my first session with Julie and it was wonderful. Even though it was a video call it was as good as being there. She’s going to help me through some tough issues, I have no doubt. She’s easy to talk to and has already identified ways she can help me. I’m looking forward to working with her!”

Julie A. Guido is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 1992. She has an M.S.W. from the University of Maryland, a B.S. from Ohio University, and an A.A.S. from Ohio University. Julie is an experienced therapist with a variety of tools to help people realize their full potential. Julie offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy, among others. She has a broader view of individuals, couples, and families and is trained to see them through a systems approach, which utilizes a genogram to help individuals see how and why they come to relationships and behaviors in the ways that they do. This is often eye-opening stuff and offers a way to identify familial patterns/traits handed down/genetics. Julie enjoys working with clientele that want to work hard and see results in the form of goals begun and completed. From teens to geriatric clients, Julie finds it extremely important to find out what the need is and to build her therapeutic approach on that basis. This includes working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, parenting, identity confusion, trauma, stress, relationships of all kinds, communication-building, women’s issues, infertility/secondary infertility, addictions, and life transitions. In her free time, Julie enjoys writing, singing (poorly), and running with her dogs. She loves to laugh – especially at herself whenever the occasion presents itself.
