Julie Ross, LCSW

Julie Ross, LCSW

Psychotherapist
MO
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in behavioral health. Before moving toward private practice, I spent years leading a large youth and young adult program, which means I've sat with a lot of people on some of the hardest days of their lives '” and I've learned what actually helps. I work with teens and adults who want therapy to go somewhere. That usually means clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, or the kind of life transitions that knock you sideways '” a diagnosis, a loss, a new role, a relationship shift. I have a particular focus on two groups: parents of children with Type 1 diabetes, and people in leadership or management roles carrying significant professional weight. Both populations share a common thread '” they're holding a lot for other people and rarely get a space where someone asks how they are doing. My approach is warm but direct. I won't just nod along. I'll ask you hard questions, notice patterns you might be missing, and help you build skills and insight you can actually use between sessions. Therapy with me tends to feel collaborative and practical '” we work on things together, and we keep checking whether it's getting you where you want to go.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
