Getting to know Julieann Alvarado
I provide therapy services in a safe, online environment where clients can ask questions, seek guidance, and access support with issues related to mental health and wellness. Clients can seek my services for support with relationships, trauma, gender identity, depression, anxiety, and much more. I have over 6 years of experience working with the LGBT+ community as a mental health provider and more than 10 years of experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder as both a behavioral therapist and a mental health provider.
I hold a Master's in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University and am trained in various clinical modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). My areas of specialization include LGBT+, anxiety, depression, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
I offer support and guidance to my clients, taking their past life experiences and future goals into consideration. By working collaboratively, I aim to encourage a deeper understanding of self and past experiences while assisting in clarifying and planning future-oriented goals.
