She has received advanced training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing (MI) and is a member of the Kentucky Counseling Association. She has over 20 years of experience in hospital, outpatient and residential treatment settings. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Her areas of specialty are oppositional defiance and behavior disturbances in children, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, grief, family issues and couples counseling. She provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults. June Barnett treats patients of all ages.
