What should a new client know about working with you?

My Therapeutic Approach I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop more effective ways to respond to them. This practical, hands-on approach provides you with concrete tools to feel more in control of your emotions and actions. When appropriate, I may also incorporate mindfulness techniques or discuss medication options as part of a comprehensive plan. Your goals and progress always remain at the center of our work. My Focus I work with adults and couples navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the process of healing from difficult experiences. Whether you’re working to rebuild confidence, process trauma, or simply feel more like yourself again, we’ll develop a personalized plan that feels realistic and effective for you. My Communication Style I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can be completely yourself. I believe in being open, honest, and genuinely present—listening carefully and collaborating with you to understand your needs and determine the best path forward. My goal is to support you in a way that feels authentic, comfortable, and truly helpful.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, I conduct a thorough review of your psychological history and current concerns to gain a clear understanding of your symptoms, life circumstances, relationships, and any relevant past experiences. This helps us establish accurate information and begin building rapport so we can develop a personalized plan together. Subsequent sessions are collaborative and typically last 53–60 minutes. We use evidence-based approaches to identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, or other challenges. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate additional strategies or discuss how other interventions could further support your progress. Throughout our work together, sessions remain focused on your goals. We will regularly review what’s working, adjust strategies as needed, and move forward at a pace that feels comfortable for you in a supportive, non-judgmental environment
