Getting to know Justin Monty

Hello, I'm Justin. I knew for quite a while that I wanted a career which gave me the opportunity to help others. My original plan was to be a teacher. Then, I worked with individuals with developmental disabilities for almost 10 years, before finding the world of mental health. Since then, I’ve provided many services in a variety of settings. I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky, currently offering individual therapy to clients aged 13 and up. I mainly use an approach that includes DBT-informed and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies. Education and Professional Affiliations: - Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education, Ohio University, 2009 - Master of Science in Social Administration, Case Western Reserve University, 2018 - Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio since 2020, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky since 2025 - Member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
