Justine Walters, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Justine! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, supported, and understood. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to create a more fulfilling life. My focus I enjoy working with young adults navigating life changes and transitions as well as individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply ready for a meaningful change in their lives. I support clients as they navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, self-esteem and confidence, and other personal struggles. My approach My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that every person’s experiences are unique, and therapy should be a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. My communication style I believe therapy is a collaborative process, so I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and provide guidance and feedback when helpful. I’ll meet you where you are while also gently encouraging you to recognize your strengths, explore new perspectives, and take meaningful steps toward the changes you want to make. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into therapy began through my work in group homes and then later into case management where I supported individuals living with dual diagnoses. These experiences allowed me to see firsthand the challenges many people face and the importance of having someone who listens and provides support. My goals for you Throughout the therapeutic process, I provide support, encouragement, and practical tools while helping you recognize your strengths and progress. We’ll regularly reflect on what’s working, make adjustments when needed, and celebrate the growth along the way.
