Kady-Ann approaches therapy from a client-centered and integrative perspective to ensure individuals and families reach their highest potential. She uses an array of evidence-based techniques with a specialty in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Brief Therapy, Solution-focused, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness to help individuals make behavioral changes to promote growth and improve quality of life. Kady-Ann also welcomes clients from Caribbean backgrounds and the LGBTQ community.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Structure of Therapy • The First Phase is the Intake, where we will discuss policies and procedures and explore your experience surrounding the presenting problem. • The Second Phase is the Assessment, where I will collect background information to get to know you. • The Third Phase is when we collaborate to identify therapeutic goals. • The Fourth Phase is Intervention when the client actively participates in the therapeutic process to achieve goals; this includes (utilizing the solution discussed, completing assignments discussing progress, and adjusting goals as needed). • The fifth and final Phase is Graduation/Discharge or Termination. This Phase is where we discuss the transition plan as you move closer to completing your goals.
