Life is fast-paced and ever-changing, which can sometimes lead us to forget to prioritize our mental health. You are the expert on yourself and your life. If you wake up one morning and feel that something is not right-whether that be losing motivation or joy in life activities-the hardest part is figuring out why. I would love to help you navigate through the change process and help you get control of your life back. It takes courage to ask for help and to take that first step toward making meaningful changes. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master's in Sport and Human Performance from Adler University. I am a firm believer that every person is capable of living an authentic and mindful life with purpose, but sometimes we have difficulty knowing how to get there on our own. It is my goal to work collaboratively with you to create goals that aid you in coping with life's struggles more effectively. I will provide you with a non-judgmental and welcoming environment where you can gain valuable insight into who you are and who you want to be. Together, we will draw from your unique personal strengths to help you develop a strong sense of self while improving your quality of life. I am holistic and person-centered in how I approach clients, utilizing tools that fall under the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing umbrella. I recognize that individuals may need a more direct approach that complements their journey of self-actualization. My clinical practice involves meeting you where you are and helping you feel that you are “in the driver's seat” of your progress. However, my use of tools from various theories is rooted in my belief that people are complex and may require more than one approach to help them. It would be an honor and privilege to work with you! No matter the situation or individual, I'm here to remind you that you are not alone.
