What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a sex-positive, queer and neurodiversity-affirming therapist. I offer a wide variety of therapies to assist you in your healing process including internal family systems, EMDR and inner-child work. There is not one type of therapy to heal all wounds, and I am pleased to offer a variety of services to suit diverse needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a first session, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space and getting to know the client. I invite them to share what brought them in and what they’re hoping to get from therapy. We go over the process, confidentiality, and I answer any questions they have. As we talk, we may begin identifying areas of distress and gently noticing any patterns or connections that might be emerging. It’s the beginning of building trust and starting to understand their inner world.
